This is Jack, he is approximately 1 and a half years old. He was rescued from south Texas from people who weren’t very kind to him. He is missing an eye and his ears are jagged from where they cut them. He is a Shephard mix and weighs 40lbs. He is a sweet dog that needs a special home. He doesn’t like cats and sometimes doesn’t like other dogs either. He is neutered and up to date with all his shots. He is very smart and has learned to sit, lay down and paw. He is close to knowing rollover and is working on stay. He loves to cuddle and will sleep on your pillow if you let him. I don’t, so he will sleep on the corner of the bed or on the floor next to it. He does like to chew on flip flops and other shoes if they are left lying around, but he is getting better about that as long as you’re around. He just needs some love and attention and he will make someone a great, loyal pet. He doesn’t try to run off if he sneaks out without his leash on. He can learn not to get on your furniture but you will need to be consistent and firm because he will sneak on it when you are not looking, lol. But will do it less as he learns the new rules, so patience is necessary. He loves to be outdoors and walks on a leash very well until a rabbit hops by then he needs some correction. He also loves to go for rides and is very good in the car. Jack will come with his crate, a bed, a couple of dishes, a leash, his collars, some balls, his current food and dental chews, a 25 foot tie-up cable, a harness, 3 months of heartworm medication and miscellaneous other things he has acquired.
