Project Description

ADOPTED 03/2018

Adoptable HOPE dog, Jasmine is a 6 mo old American Mixed Breed, approx 45lbs. She is curious, interested & friendly to people and dogs, though she can be timid in new situations. She is house trained and does well in her crate. She loves her chew toys and dates at the dog park. On walks, she likes to stop and look at her reflection in windows.

Jasmine would be great as a play buddy for a dog who is energetic and a bit rough & tumble, like she is, or as an only dog with a person or family who will provide adequate activity. Jasmine is affectionate but not needy. Additional training will set her and her new family up for many happy years together. If you have landlord or insurance issues regarding breed, she would surely be labeled a pit mix.

Jasmine enjoys eating her meals from her puzzle toy. She has a wide ranging palate. She will not let you eat an orange without sharing it with her! Jasmine also enjoys cucumbers, celery and apples.

As a short-haired breed, Jasmine has been wearing a coat, and sometimes boots, in the colder weather. She seems to like them both and is very good about “getting dressed”. She adopts a very cute trot while wearing boots and never fusses over them or tries to get them off.

All HOPE dogs are neutered (spayed), tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Erlicchia & Anaplasmosis (all negative for Jasmine) and up to date on vaccines.
