Luke – (approximately two years of age) A neutered, male, Black and Tan Doberman Pincher – Ears, un-cut and tail, cut long.  Luke is an athletic, 78 lb, Doberman Pincher with a heart of gold.  Luke has suffered some harsh abuse as a youngster (serious head trauma and a cigarette burn to the left hip, a poor diet and lack of proper veterinary care). Luke has a mild case of PTSD and needs a calm, kind, alpha owner.  Luke should not be in a home with children or cats. Luke has a high prey instinct.  Luke should never be allowed on furniture or to be in an Alpha position above a human.  Luke responds well to a calm, kind, assertive owner.  Luke does not respond well to aggression or anger.  Luke will nip or growl out of fear when treated with aggression or given the Alpha Role.  Luke does best when he knows his owner is in charge and does not fear that harm.  Luke needs a daily run or long walk.  Luke adores all other dogs who treat him well.  He has no dog aggression.  He normally retreats if another dog is aggressive.  Call Cheri for more information 518-424-5973
