Reggie

Reggie is a 7 year old Feist/Jack Russell mix. He is a friendly, active dog that still has a lot of puppy in him. He comes from a loving family that can no longer keep him and can be in a home with children as well as other animals. Reggie is fully house broken and all of his shots are up to date. He needs to be in a home where he will get a lot of exercise and loving. He has a lot of energy and can be a rascal but he is full of love and will be sorely missed by his present owner. Reggie was originally a save dog from Tennessee and has been with the same family since his adoption when he was one year old.

Jake
Jake is an 11-year old neutered male who is in perfect health and up to date with all of his shots. He is good with children, but would do better in a home without cats or other dogs. Jake is a loving pet that will show absolute devotion to his owner. He does not act his age and has energy to spare - loves to play fetch and go for walks. He can sometimes be aggressive to other dogs, particularly around feeding time or when another dog has “his” owner’s attention.

Rugby

RUGBY is a Pomeranian / Chihuahua mix, who is 5 years old and weighs 11 pounds
My name is Rugby and I am a frustrated little boy !! I have not had any luck in finding the right home yet. I have had a few wonderful people ask about me but I need a special home (not for medical reasons) and it just has not worked out yet. I am just a VERY scared and timid kid. I do not like a lot of commotion or men. I am looking for a mom. I came to Keeper Rescue from a shelter where I was a basket case and they were not able to help me but wanted me to have a chance as I was such a darling. When I first came into Keeper all I did was hide. I was scared to death. I made friends with their mascot Peanut and she has been great to me and I love her. I have really warmed up to the girls who care for me and I'm so happy to be with them but they still have to be calm with me. Guys in general I do NOT like nor want any part of unless it’s one special fella. I have a met a few people but no one has had a home without a male in it yet and I have not liked that. When I do find my “mom” it needs to be a quiet home without a lot of people in and out and when I go there we will need a few days of quiet to get to know each other and to understand each other. I do like other dogs and cats that have a gentle temperament. Due to fear, I am a MAJOR escaper and WILL bolt out of a door so my mom would have to be very aware and careful of that. I walk very well with a harness (so I don’t get spooked and slip my collar) and I LOVE to ride in the car (I love to eat out). I have been fully vetted and appear to be a healthy boy of 5. My fear is my only issue though it’s very serious. I would not be good in a home with children. I love toys to play with and I am NEVER late for meals !! Once I am comfortable with you I will follow you all around the house. I also love a nice bed to stretch out in. I was on WTEN’s Pet Connection with Steve Caporizzo and I do have to say that he was so good to me and so gentle (you can see me on their website / Pet Connection) that I sat on his lap…. I have the sweetest face and big brown eyes that will melt your heart……. If you have a calm, quiet home and could love a sweet, needy boy who will bring a lot of joy to your heart and life please ask about me. They hope to place me close enough so that I can have a few “visits” with my new mom and get comfortable before moving in.
