Be a Foster Parent!

Can you give temporary love to a pet until we can place them permanently? This is our #1 wish. H.O.P.E. covers necessary medical costs as approved by our Board of Directors. H.O.P.E. also provides foster homes with donated supplies for foster animals at adoption clinics when possible.

Perhaps you are unable to foster regularly, but can help for a few days while an animal is recovering from surgery, or while a foster care provider is away for a few days. Or provide day care for an animal who is not ready to be left home alone. Pass the word onto friends and family.

Can’t foster? There are so many other ways that you can help!

Dog and Cat Food

We are actively holding regular pet food drives with the goal of assisting lower-income pet guardians keep their dogs and/or cats. Please see our calendar for specific dates and times. On a volunteer-available basis, we may be able to meet you on other dates/times.

Volunteer

If you think you would like to actively volunteer in any capacity, please send us your email address, and we will add you to the volunteer email list.

Educational Programs

H.O.P.E. reaches out to the next generation by visiting students, places of worship, libraries and other venues, and educating people in basic pet care and responsibility. Students learn about the human-animal bond. If you’d like to work with children we’d love to have your help with this program. No experience is necessary.

Transportation

We always need assistance bringing cats and kittens and supplies to or from our adoption clinics, veterinarian appointments, and events.

Creative Writing

You can help by writing articles for our quarterly newsletter “Paw Prints,” creating posters, or writing pet biographies for our Website.

Use your Imagination!

Make some decorated H.O.P.E. donation jars, put them in your local stores, collect the donations monthly, and send them to H.O.P.E
Garage Sale / Bake Sale: Hold a garage sale or bake sale and donate the proceeds to H.O.P.E.
Post brochures and newsletters at your veterinarian’s office or local pet supply store

Membership

Please become a member! Just send $10 to H.O.P.E. for your individual membership or $25 for a family membership. You will receive our quarterly newsletter with fun stories and updates about the animals. $100 will give you a lifetime membership! Send your donation to H.O.P.E., P.O. Box 2497, Wilton, NY 12831.

Animal Sponsorship

$30 Sponsors a cat. $50 sponsors a dog. You will receive a photo of your Sponsored Pet, brief history and thank you note. A great gift package for any animal lover! (If you’ve sponsored a H.O.P.E. animal already, please remind us who you sponsored, so we can be sure you sponsor a new pet!).

Donations of any kind are always needed; monetary as well as pet food, treats, toys, and supplies. All donations are tax-deductible.
