Marilyn is a beautiful black cat with bright yellow eyes. She is spayed and is estimated to be between 2-3 years old.

Marilyn was rescued from the streets of Cohoes about a year ago. She was malnourished, had fleas and ear mites, and was not spayed. She was treated at the vet and spayed and is now in tip-top shape. Unfortunately, her rescuers have 5 other cats in their home and Marilyn really needs to be in a home without any other cats. She is also very skittish around men and children.

Marilyn is not a cuddler, she’s not even a big fan of being petted, but she does love to rub up against you and purr to show her affection! Marilyn has a lively spirit and loves to play.

We're hoping to place her in a caring home with a patient "Mommy". She will need some TLC to acclimate her to her new surroundings, but in the end she will be worth the effort.
