True Songs Caffe Lena

TrueSongs

TrueSongs is a new program created by Caffè Lena that creates a bridge between the arts and social services to demonstrate how both help to create a healthy, whole community.

By sharing true stories and creating compelling new songs, this live performance will reveal how lives were changed for the better by the work of local non-profits.

Designed to be collaborative, cathartic and compelling, the program will demonstrate the artistic process of turning one person’s story into a song that can break through stereotypes and boundaries to touch many hearts.

This evening five community members will share their true stories and five songwriters will play compelling new songs based on those stories to show how lives were changed for the better.
